Is your child ready for Kindergarten in your Cincinnati School District? Why not get them off to a great start by enrolling them in a Kindergarten readiness course?
UFLI* "Getting Ready" (Lessons A–J) provides foundational, oral, and play-based lessons (voiced/unvoiced, stop/slide sounds, skywriting) for kindergarteners to build phonemic awareness and handwriting skills before formal phonics. Students will be better prepared to decode and encode.
We will also be working on numbers and other skills in camp to prepare your child for Kindergarten.
Six weeks
60 minute classes
3 - 12 children
For children entering Kindergarten in the Fall (2026/2027 school year)
Bring a water bottle, backpack, pencil, folder, and notebook to class. We provide the rest:)
*UFLI instruction is based on the science of reading and is the reading curriculum at many elementary schools in Ohio and other states, as well.
